He is the German champion of mentalism and a professional actor. Studying illusions for more than 20 years lead him to a point where he no longer relies on rabbits, ropes and ribbons of silk. His weapon of choice is the mind of the spectator. In his shows he controls the attention of the audience so cunningly that it seems as if he knew the thoughts of everybody around him. The only tool he uses from time to time is a deck of playing cards.
Joining the German Magic Circle has enabled him to perform internationally and on TV. His exceptional acting skills on stage prove equally impressive in front of the camera.

The Experts

Jason England

has the most dangerous hands in Las Vegas. He is a specialist for scams and trickery with playing cards. In his private collection of magic books you can find almost every technique to create real miracles with nothing more than a deck of cards. Due to his intensive study of old magic texts and publications he is privy to the origin of card manipulation.
R. Paul Wilson

is a Scottish filmmaker and magician. He has worked on BBC shows such as “The Real Hustle”, “Scammed” and “The Takedown”, all dealing with the topic of how to cheat at cards. He has designed illusions for some of the biggest names in magic and is known as a creator of close up effects, especially card tricks.
Richard Turner

is a card mechanic from Texas. He has been studying Erdnase’s techniques for over 50 years. As a direct student of world famous magician Dai Vernon he is also one of the few people being able to elaborate on how to apply cheating techniques in the real world.
Richard Hatch

is a German-American magician. He is known for translating numerous German magic documents into the English language. Also he founded a library with a friend in 1990. Today “H&R Magic Books” is one of the most renowned stores of its kind in the entire world. Thus, Richard has been dealing with the Erdnase mystery for more than 18 years.
Chris Wasshuber

is the founder of lybrary.com, an online archive for sleight of hand artists. His scientific approach towards solving the Erdnase mystery lead him down a different path than most magicians interested in the topic.
Bill Mullins

is a magic enthusiast from the US. He is one of the most knowledgable people when it comes to Erdnase and the history of his book. As a former military man he has access to archives others don’t. This enables him to dig much deeper when looking for the long-lost author.
Laura London

is one of the few women in the world of wizardry. When she was 18 years old the Magic Circle in Great Britain accepted her as the youngest female member of the community back then. Meanwhile she already has performed for the Queen and is the first choice for every café and restaurant in London, that values good entertainment.
Guy Hollingworth

is a British barrister and professional magician. At the age of 13 he joined a magic club at school and later specialized in card magic. Inspired by magicians such as Ricky Jay he gained a reputation in the community as the author of his magic book “Drawing Room Deceptions”. His stage act “The Expert at the Card Table” was directed by no other than Neil Patrick Harris.
